Our dog Shasta was barking early one morning in June in the back of our back yard. I went to see what she was so excited about and saw this white animal that I first thought was a white cat but it didn't move. Then I thought it was a puppy but it stayed so still. As I learned later that’s what baby fawns do. They stay where their mothers leave them hidden in the bushes. I was so surprised to see a baby fawn just born, let alone a white one, that I got my camera and took this picture. The dear is still in the area. If you saw it you would think you saw a goat! It travels with its mother and now with about six other deer that enjoy eating all the plants and shrubs.

Thanks, Bonnie Great story! Remeber if you have someting you would like to share e-mail me wjvd@hotmail.com
